Dot Day Signature Events 2026

While there are thousands of wonderful Dot Day events happening every year all around the “big blue dot” of Planet Earth, Peter H. Reynolds (author/illustrator of THE DOT) has events planned that he’ll be part of -   

  • Monday, August 31: PHR Virtual Keynote - Fresno County School Librarians - Peter will be keynoting to 70 Librarians from the district. Each teacher will receive a PHR book, purchased from a local bookshop

  • Sunday, Sept 6,  10am-3pm: ICA Boston - Dot Day Celebration! Creatrilogy animated films screening, PHR appearance/booksigning, staff book readings, dot making workshop - ICA Shop book sales & signing  

  • Saturday, Sept 12, 10am-4pm: Museum of Fine Arts- Dot Day celebration with Peter doing interactive readings, ICA Shop book sales & signing

  • Sat/Sunday September 12 & 13: Blue Bunny Books - Sat/Sunday Weekend Dot Day Fest. Special Sunday event hosted by Peter - booksigning, dot making activities - sidewalk chalk dot drawing.

  • Monday/Tues, Sept 14 to 15: Dot Day Live Stream from TLC Studios!- 24-hour Dot Day live stream celebration with Peter and twin brother Paul who will be welcoming all time zones to Dot Day 

  • Sept 25-27: Aspen Words Literary Fest, Peter will be speaking, signing books and leading a valley-wide community celebration in Aspen, CO.

  • Oct 22-24: Georgia Arts Education Association Peter will keynote to over 500 Art Educators from the state of Georgia. Their theme is “Make Your Mark.” Peter will also be doing a book signing, and Peter’s non-profit Reynolds TLC will have a booth on the conference.

  • October: Dot Day Rwanda - still in the works - stay tuned!

  • Nov 21: PHR VIRTUAL Keynote - NYS Arts Education Conference - Post-Dot Day celebration!
